Curriculum
Patrizia Lamberti è nata nel 1974. Ha conseguito la Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica nel 2001 con il massimo dei voti presso l'Università degli Studi di Salerno. Ha conseguito presso la stessa università il Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria dell'Informazione e dal 2005 lavora come Ricercatore Universitario di Elettrotecnica (SSD ING-IND/31) presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria. Afferisce attualmente al Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Infromazione, Ingegneria Elettrica e Matematica Applicata (DIEM) dove collabora attivamente nella ricerca e nella didattica con l'unità salernitana di Elettrotecnica. Dal 2003 al 2006 è stata membro del CNSU (Consiglio Nazionale degli Studenti) e del CUN (Consiglio Universitario Nazionale) quale rappresentante nazionale degli studenti di Dottorato di Ricerca. E' membro ADI e IEEE nonchè iscritta all'albo degli Ingegneri. Ha collaborato attivamente fin dal 2001 nelle attività del gruppo di Elettrotecnica coprendo incarichi nell'ambito del "Centro di Eccellenza su metodi e sistemi per l'apprendimento e la conoscenza" e del "Centro regionale di competenza nelle produzioni agroalimentari". E' stat viceresponsabile del progetto Prin08 Sviluppo e caratterizzazione elettromagnetica di nanocompositi polimerici basati su strutture di carbonio” (DENSE) dal 2010 al 2012, ha partecipato al progetto europeo “Carbon nAnotube Technology for High-speed nExt-geneRation nano-InterconNEcts (CATHERINE)” finanziato nell'ambito del VII PQ. Attualmente e membro dell'unità di ricerca dell'Università di Salerno nell'ambito del progetto europeo IASS (Improving the Aircraft Safety by Self -healing structure and protecting nanofillers) Grant agreement no. 313978 ed è national substitute member (MC) per l'Italia nell'ambito della COST Action TD1104 - EP4Bio2Med (European network for development of electroporation-based technologies and treatments) nonchè referente per l'Università di Salerno-Facoltà di Ingegneria, nell'ambito della stessa azione. La sua attività di ricerca ha riguardato principalmente lo sviluppo di modelli e metodi numerici per lo studio degli effetti di campi elettromagnetici, l'analisi di tolleranza e il progetto ottimizzato di circuiti elettronici di potenza, di dispositivi magnetici ed elettrici, di sistemi biologici. Fin dal 2002 si occupa di analisi sperimentali su materiali e compositi innovativi per applicazioni di ingegneria elettrica presso il Laboratorio di Caratterizzazione Elettromagnetica del Materiali (LCEM) del DIEM. L'attività di ricerca ha condotto a numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche sia su riviste internazionali che negli atti di conferenze nazionali ed internazionali, riportando talvolta anche il premio come migliore pubblicazione. Gli attuali interessi di ricerca la vedono coinvolta nella determinazione di progetto robusto di dispositivi elettromagnetici, in particolare per il trattamento elettromagnetico di sistemi biologici, e nella caratterizzazione e modellistica di componenti e materiali che prevedono la presenza di nanostrutture di carbonio.
Patrizia Lamberti was born in 1974, ITALY.
She received the Laurea Degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Salerno in 2001 with a thesis on the "Analysis and tolerance design of closed-loop controllers for switching converters”. She received the Ph.D in Information Engineering at the University of Salerno in 2006 with a dissertation on "Robust design of circuits in presence of uncertain parameters”.
From the January 2005 she is Assistant Professor with Engineering School at the University of Salerno, Italy. From 2013 she is with the Department of Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics (DIEM) at the same University and she performs her research activity primary at the Lab for Electromagnetic Characterization of Materials (LCEM). She is also with the interdepartmental center NANO_MATES (Research Centre for NANOMAterials and nanoTEchnology at University of Salerno) on nanotechnology of the University of Salerno and the ICEmB - national inter-university research Centre on the interaction between electromagnetic fields and biosystems. She is national substitute MC and responsible for the University of Salerno – Faculty of Engineering – section of COST Action TD1104 - EP4Bio2Med (European network for development of electroporation-based technologies and treatments). From 2008 she is active IEEE Member, with membership in Communications Society, Electron Devices Society and Women in Engineering.
From the 2003 to the 2006 she was member of the University Student National Council (CNSU) and the National University Council (CUN) as the national representative of the Ph.D Students.
From the 2001 she worked with the research group of Electrotechnics of the University of Salerno. Since 2002 she is involved in experimental researches on materials and innovative composites for electrical engineering applications at the LCEM. The research activity has lead to several scientific publications on international journals, on proceedings of national and international conferences. Her research interests concern numerical methods for electromagnetic fields, tolerance analysis and design optimization in power electronics circuits and magnetic components, uncertainty in real systems, EM modeling of condensed matter, EM modeling and characterization of novel material. The main recent research subjects concern the robust design of electromagnetic devices, the treatment of biological cells by means of Pulsed Electric Field, the electromagnetic characterization and modeling of nanocomposites based on carbon nanostructure like as CNT, CNF and graphene.

Moreover from the 2010 to 2012 she was vice-responsible of the biannual national project PRIN2008-DENSE (Development and Electromagnetic Characterization of Nano Structured Carbon Based Polymer CompositEs) founded by the Italian University Ministry. From the 2002 to 2011 she was team component of research projects founded by University of Salerno for activity in the basic research context. In 2012 she received, as team-leader, the responsibility of a project for the research group of Electrotechnics of the University of Salerno, titled “Modellistica e caratterizzazione elettromagnetica di strutture nanometriche”, leading to an activity on “EM modeling at nano-level” (including biological cells subjected to impulsive electrical fields).
